Ace is a purebred male Yorkshire Terrier from Blue Ridge, Georgia.
He is black and tan (technically blue and gold) with the perfect little Yorkie features.
His name is Ace because he was the single puppy in his litter. Born on Christmas Eve, Nico stands for St. Nicholas.
Ace was a little shy when he first arrived at Fluff Town. He probably was not accustomed to Stormy and Shiloh’s rowdiness. It only took him a day or two to warm up to the other fur balls and now he is a force to be reckoned with! Though he is small, he is mighty and fearless. He will not hesitate to woof relentlessly at the giant tattooed muscle man who he calls Daddy. He bravely alerts us to any and every shadow in the night. We can rest assured that we won’t have any anyone sneaking up on us!
Ace is a smart little fella. He learns the ropes by watching the others and copying what they do. He is the most obedient of all the fluffies. Each time we call his name, he stops in his tracks and runs to us as fast as he can!
The sweetest thing about Ace is how much he loves to be loved. He rolls over onto his belly and puts those little feet in the air in pure satisfaction any time he gets a belly rub.
Oddly enough, he is not a kisser. He does not want to be kissed by the humans! If you come at him with pursed lips, he will turn his head. He’s not having any of that!
Such a sweet, funny little addition to Fluff Town. This is one of Ace’s first photos. And now, full grown, Ace weighs in at 6.5 lbs!
UPDATED INFORMATION: Sadly, we have had to remove Ace from the breeding program due to finding that he has low-grade patellar luxation. We would never want to pass down a poor genetic trait to any of our puppies, so we had Ace neutered. BUT – he is still our sweet boy and he is a founding member of Fluff Town, so we are keeping him here on the parent page (as a step-dad) and we will continue to feature him in our blog posts.
