Ahhhh…. Today Was a Good Day

By Stormy:

The morning started off with a nice brushing to get me fluffed up. Yeah, I know I just had a bath and blow-dry last night, but a quick little fluffing is always nice before a field trip. My mom tried one of my outfits on me and, to her surprise, I’ve already outgrown it! (Guess I need to stop running to Shiloh’s bowl to finish her food after I hog my own down in 10.2 seconds flat). Anyways, she put the red shirt on me after that and it fits just fine. She slicked down the hair around my eyes and I was ready to go. Now, on to dressing Shiloh and Ace – hurry up we can’t be late!

Shiloh and Ace were easier to get dressed than I (they don’t fidget as much), so that didn’t take long and then we were in the car and headed to pick Daddy up for our family trip to the vet. Mom & Dad just got us a doggy stroller and I can’t wait to ride in it.

The car ride was very relaxing. We have two doggy beds in the back seat, but the three of us decided to snuggle together in the same poofy bed. We got to the vet, Mom and Dad put us in our new stroller and in we go. Oh, boy, I loooooooove going to the vet. My doctor, Dr. Brandy Bragg at the Animal Hospital at Rice Hope is theee best. And I just love all of the ladies in the office… All . Of . Them .

They ooh-ed and ahhh-ed at how cute and sweet we all are. They complimented our outfits, gave us hugs and kisses, took our photographs – it was awesome as always. It was so fun to be a part of Ace’s first doctor visit. He’s such a cute little brother.

Dr. Bragg gave me a check up and she even plucked my ear hairs. Shiloh got vaccines. And Ace got his first check up. Then we were done.

We headed home, had some brunch and took a nap. The rest of the day was smooth sailing after such a great start. I can’t wait til next time!
